Review on 🎒 Osprey Escapist Indigo Medium Daypack: Lightweight and Versatile Companion for Adventurous Escapes by Věra Filipová

I have been looking for some time now for the cycling backpack in the market which would fit my needs. You should do DYOR also between backpacks.:) There are multiple options how to choose the right backpack and what to focus on. I have to say it was not as easy as I have thought it would. I have listed what I expect from my backpack. I have defined all the features my backpack should have that could help me on the bike and make my ride more pleasant.

First of all I have decided that one of the best brands (not only for cycling backpack) is Osprey, so I have chosen this one. Then I was looking what are necessary features I would like to have on my backpack and set at least those: backside with air ventilation system, protection against rain or other unpleasant weather, lot of inside place and lot of pockets with some dedicated for sunglasses or phone and space for camelback, there should be easily reachable pockets. If I have to say it for the Osprey Escapist Backpack I would just say it has it all.



One of the feature I really like is the special holder for the cycling helmet where you can attach it when you are not using it so there is no need to have other special pocket for it. This is quite unique one and save you a lot of space. It has great back to relieve your backbone and utilizes great air flow system in order not to sweat much when cycling.



It has integrated rain cover which is hidden in the downside pocket. It has special place and holder for camelback in order to be able to drink when you cycling so there is no need to get off your bike or use dedicated bottle. It has special pocket which they promoted as anti scratch so you can put there your sunglasses. There is easy to reach big frontside pocket where you are able to get the jacket or other clothing. There is also special holder in the front where you can attach the light which is quite handy in the night. The only disadvantage is the pocket in the front side which is meant for your cell phone but actually is quite small (probably it was for the phones created in past times before smartphones with huge screens) but you can use it also for your sunglasses. You can choose between more colors. I have personally decided for the blue variant. We must not forget about price tag which is quite affordable around 110 USD. I would not look for the backpacks over 150 USD.





I have received this backpack for the birthday and was one of the best present. I have to say that all people there at the party decided they will buy one for themself. It means that the backpack is so great.
