Excellent Swedish kitchen towels.

For those who have never used swedish kitchen towels, it takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it. Yes, they look like a flattened cellulose sponge, but unlike sponges, they can be reused many times. Once they start to break down, you can compost them as they are biodegradable. I've never seen sponges come completely clean if you put them in the microwave or in the dishwasher, and they usually smell pretty quick. Just throw them in the washing machine hot with them and they always come out clean, even though I've used them on a tomato sauce wipe. I tumble dry mine because I think they last longer. You can also put them in the dryer (I tumble dry on low heat). They just wrinkle and shrink more, but with water they always return to the same size. I also use jersey clothes for the dishes, but I find them better for wiping down counters. These Swedish tea towels are just as amazing as the ones I bought at my local Scandinavian boutique. It's also a great value when you can get 2 for $7 or $8. I would highly recommend them and have given them away to family and friends.
