An interesting concept: something between a thin sponge and a cotton tea towel. I bought these to try and my best use is for wiping countertops and kitchen countertops as they leave those surfaces drier than a cloth. I never use sponges because they are very contagious, but they can be machine washed, air dried and used over and over again. When they air dry, they shrink into a wavy shape. For those who have never used swedish kitchen towels, it takes a little getting used to, but it's worth it. Yes, they look like a flattened cellulose sponge, but unlike sponges, they can be reused many times. Once they start to break down, you can compost them as they are biodegradable.
