Review on πŸŒ€ MaxxFan 0004500K Smoke Standard Remote Lid Fan by MAXXAIR by Jimmy Jefferson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Other fans are not even comparable to this fan in all aspects!

You don't think you need to worry or think much about a bathroom fan on wheels, but this fan does. We've had everything from very cheap junk fans given away by manufacturers to buyers on wheels to the best fantastic models and none of them are even in the same league as this fan. This is a really good fan! The controls on the fan are a little confusing to use, but it's not a case where there's no point figuring out the remote, which has an LCD that shows you everything that's going on and comes with a mount to help to attach them like a normal wall switch. I really wish there were more pictures on this product listing than just the outside you never see. A better picture of what it looks like inside and from the remote, as well as a picture of everything that goes with it, is badly needed. The lack of either made us almost hesitant not to buy it. The description really needs to be better. We were hesitant to buy one with a motor lift because what happens if the power goes out or the lift's motor stops and you have to open or close it? The description and lack of pictures doesn't tell you that there is also a very simple hand crank (unlike other hard to turn fans like the Fantastic or lower quality). The dual supports for the lid are much better designed. The lift motor is a little louder than it should be, it's not loud to say the least, but you can hear it pacing. The hand crank to control the motor when needed is very smooth and easy to move up and down unlike any other fan from the brand. The fan itself is insanely quiet, at lower speeds it still moves a lot of air, but it's so quiet that even directly below it, just a few inches from me, I keep glancing up to see if it's actually on . Even at top speed, it's quiet and completely inaudible from just a few feet away, and it moves air. Never buy another fan than this one again. Its only downside is that the control buttons on the fan itself are a bit confusing to use and there's no real sense of whether you're pressing the buttons or not, but with the wall-mounted remote on the included wall bracket, you'll never need these use buttons.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Hard to say
