I've had this device for a week and I have to say, it's not half bad. Shuffle could seriously use some work (it cycles through the same 10 songs but sometimes it ventures out. Maybe.). Sound quality is decent for having paid $50 something for it. My favorite feature is the ebook reader! If you have any epud or pdf files that you want to read on it, you'll have to convert them to TXT files (I recommend calibre ebook reader/converter on windows and mac for that). The device itself is roughly the size of an iPod nano 7th gen, so not too big. The screen is clear and bright with an ips display instead of a tn panel, so viewing angles are great! It's also easy to get music on the device. Just download the files on your PC or phone (note that you need an otg cable or sd card reader to USB compatible with both your phone and the device), copy and paste or drag and drop. When pluged into the computer, it'll also show the sd card as a storage drive right by the device storage, so you don't even have to remove it from the device! It also plays mp4 files! No converting required, it goes right up to 1080p!Battery life is poor. After four hours of use, the mp3 player was just under the halfway mark on the battery indicator at the top right of the screen. The included ergonomic earbuds were decent. Clear and loud, but not the greatest. If you were hoping to play your music by using the file app on it, give it up. I have 450 songs on my sd card (it plays every sound format by the way. I prefer m4a files over mp3 myself, so it works out great) and it won't read past the first 20 or so, just skips right back up to the top after that.
