This player is an attractive looking player which doesn’t cost too much. So don’t expect too much from it. Below I mention its flaws. Its advantage is that for playing videos it has a reasonably large screen (3.5”) for a player about the size that iPods used to be. I would only buy this player to play videos. If you want to use it play music then buy something else. (For music I would give it 2 stars.)Videos are stretched to fit the full width of the screen. The aspect ratio is roughly 2.38:1. (Which is nearly the same as the 2.35:1 ratio found on a lot of DVDs.) This means that widescreen videos will be stretched. You can add black bars to the sides of the videos using a video editor. This will correct the stretching. But this is something you should not have to do.Adjusting the time is impossible unless you do it the right way:When replacing the numbers that are there, there are two ways to do this: you can shunt out the existing numbers with the ones you want or you can delete the ones that are there and then input the correct ones. Doing it the first way will not work. You have to do it the second way.Avoid inserting leading zeroes when entering digits. i.e. type "3” instead of "03”.It has a shuffle feature which only selects from a small part of the music. The vast majority of pieces do not get played at all. The only way to play these is to manually select them. And if you do that then the next piece will be one you will have already heard from the recently played list. The problem here is that a lot of cheap mp3 players seem to be like this.It is not possible to play music sequentially even though there is an icon for it. The player stays at shuffle. The player has a resume function and will resume from the file last played but only from the start of it. If you make an adjustment to the brightness, for example, and return to where you were the file will play from the start. It is not possible to delete any files; you have to delete them using File Explorer while the device is connected to your PC.Update:The resume function I mentioned above does not work for videos. I uploaded 10 episodes of a comedy series and it is starting to get tedious trying to remember which episode I was watching before I turned it off the last time I used it. I took a star off for that.
