Review on SHINESTAR Roadside Magnetic Emergency Batteries by Aaron Allen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Getting ready! and bring your own batteries.

I bought two (2) sets for my cars and couldn't be happier (almost). Overall, the devices are well made and designed. I like the hooks and magnets on the device and the carrying case. The hammer of life seems well made, I hope I never need this tool. As described, the flashlights have multiple models as well as a flashlight option. very versatile and quite bright. However, the batteries supplied are not up to standard. One star deducted for that. Strangely I would have given that 5 stars if the batteries hadn't been included, why? Well if I have to put batteries in the device I agree, I understand that it increases the cost of production, shipping etc but if you put batteries in an item I expect them to last a long time. Especially if the subject matter is supposed to be safety/lifesaving, which it is. I hate to think that someone used the batteries that came with them and used them a year later only to find they lasted 10 minutes or less. My advice: put your own (branded, quality) batteries in these devices and by all means keep the cheap batteries that come in the case in case yours break. But I wouldn't use the batteries that came with it. I hope that was helpful.
