I have the proven Lexar Workflow CFR1 Cfast reader and the new ultra-slim Pixelflash Cfast reader. So I tested their speed and found that the Pixelflash reader is over 100MB/s faster, which is about a 30% speed increase. This is a very noticeable time saver when I upload footage for editing, especially on multiple cards. I'm including the photos below for other techies. The ultra slim reader is very well built, you can look at the design and see how they made it so small and thin. This is much smaller than my CFR1. The Pixelflash doesn't require a cable, but I keep a USB 3.0 extender in my pocket in case I need to plug it into a hard-to-reach spot. Lexar has a 3 foot cord, so if you need one, it's handy. I still use Lexar as a backup, but will probably buy another ultra-thin one soon. I was surprised by the large compromise in overall speed between the two devices. I've recently started using Pixelflash Cfast cards and they are VERY fast. I like devices that run as fast as I do.
