Brightness and image quality are very good. The image is clearly visible in the bright sun without a hood. The touchscreen can be turned on or off as needed. Touch sensitivity is okay, but not as responsive as the iPhone, but still usable. Colors are accurate and focusing is much easier with this monitor than my old ESSD monitor. There are many features, but the one I use the most is focus assist, although this varies from user to user. I find 6 inches perfect for outdoor use. Not heavy, but well made!
