I bought this by throwing parts at my fan. Do yourself a favor and pull the flywheel. The built-in key tends to clip. That was my problem. However, I also have this new coil and the fan works great. You must use an old spark plug boot as you will only get what is shown in the picture. I had to cut off some of the insulation to allow the spark to hit the candle. Also, I used a business card for the coil to flywheel clearance. Do yourself a favor and do this job yourself instead of spending $80-$120 at a small motor shop. But first check the flywheel key.
