I've had problems with my blower running for more than 5 minutes and then not starting. Shipping to the store to replace this part is $40. I installed it myself, it works like 10 years ago! Hasn't ridden this well in years!

Ignition coil fitted perfectly and worked first time for my Echo fan. Perfect update to my October 2020 review. After 6 uses for blowing leaves and cleaning the lighthouse, the spark plug fires. Everything reinstalled and died. Must, but Echo OEM now.

Bought for a fish finder, looked a perfect fit, fitted. Pulled the rope and the blower started working immediately. thought wow great, well not so fast. it worked for about 20 minutes with start and stop and then not start again. I checked the spark, there is no spark, now we need to disassemble and replace the fan again. waste of time!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Complete garbage parts. Bought this coil, took it to a small auto shop for installation, after 2 hours the leaf blower was dead. I brought it back to the shop, they told me the coil was already out of service. Save yourself the headache and do nothing but that part. Sure, you can get a refund for a part, but it takes work if it fails.

I bought this by throwing parts at my fan. Do yourself a favor and pull the flywheel. The built-in key tends to clip. That was my problem. However, I also have this new coil and the fan works great. You must use an old spark plug boot as you will only get what is shown in the picture. I had to cut off some of the insulation to allow the spark to hit the candle. Rated out of 1 star - After initially being able to fix the fan and run it for the first or second time, it failed again after about 2 hours of operation. I blew the leaves, it worked for about 10 minutes and just stopped like it was out of gas. The tank was almost full. Again the same problem, the coil is defective, I will buy it again elsewhere. Ignition coil only fires at very high RPM. I tested this with a drill spinning a flywheel at 750-1000 rpm. At this speed, a spark is produced. Good luck with such a quick engine start. This module is not working properly. It should be able to produce an acceptable spark when started normally from a manual start.
