doesn't last long: Ignition parts

Bought for a fish finder, looked a perfect fit, fitted. Pulled the rope and the blower started working immediately. thought wow great, well not so fast. it worked for about 20 minutes with start and stop and then not start again. I checked the spark, there is no spark, now we need to disassemble and replace the fan again. waste of time!
