Review on πŸ’‘ USB Port Dimmable Swing Arm Wall Sconce Light with Plug in Cord, Ideal for Bedroom, Living Room, and Hotel by Tracy Thrash

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Exceptionally poor engineering makes installation difficult.

I like the performance of the lamp now that it's finally installed despite the lack of clear instructions. The bracket that holds the lamp is much narrower than the lamp base, which requires the use of two screws of different lengths. Almost the worst design I've ever had and it really takes three hands and a bit of luck to install. The lamp is not pressed against the wall, but rather stands out from the wall due to the poor construction of the bracket. So the lamp is not very stable as it should be. The LED bulb I used flickers when the dimmer is not at full power. This disadvantage is almost always associated with a cheap dimmer that is not really designed for LED bulbs. The supplier really needs to hire a designer or engineer who understands how to design wall mounts. Nice looks but really bad design.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • almost never
