I only needed these for some 3D printing projects with adjustable knobs. I didn’t need these to be stainless, but these were the only screws I could find in the sizes I needed. At first I thought $17 was a lot for screws. These unfortunately delivered a few days late so I resorted to go to the hardware store to see if I could find a few screws I needed to start out with. To my surprise an M4 stainless screw that is 30mm long at Ace Hardware was $0.80 each! So as weird as it seems to spend $17 on screws it could be a lot worse buying them locally. They also had non-stainless alternatives at Ace Hardware for $0.40 for the same size. Still at that price it would remain more expensive than buying these. Great quality screws and case. It is the sturdiest case I’ve ever seen machine screws come in.
