I bought a used boat and it didn't have oars so I bought it online. This is not the original style for boats that need to be split down the middle to keep the oars in place while paddling. They have a rubber ring to keep the paddles from falling out, but it would have been better if they had a black center section. I still use a trolling motor. It's more about the insurance. You can get a job for $15. If you are using main propulsion paddles, try to find original paddles with a black center section as this makes paddling a little easier.
