Review on CKL KVM Switch Dual Monitor DisplayPort 4 Port 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 by Geoffrey Graham

Big Old Paperweight Forget 4K

CKL-623DP" sold by "Revain.com Services LLC" for $389 Unfortunately I'm giving up this unit after a few sleepless nights Back to Troubleshooting This Unit I have a custom gaming PC and a Lenovo laptop for work docked in. For the past few years I've connected them to a triple monitor setup, with two 2160p60 displays flanked by a 1080p240 To switch between them, I have to manually toggle StarTech's dual-port dual-screen KVM for 4K displays and toggle the center screen between HDMI (laptop) and DisplayPort, and then finally the USB 3.0 switch for to switch my peripherals, I was hoping that with this KVM from CKL I could turn on all three screens a KVM, with a wired remote control no less, and handle my perip gerali too. Unfortunately, no matter what cables, combination of ports, or connections I use, I've never been able to get my average monitor to even wake up from standby mode. My side monitors worked, but only at 1440p60, with one of the two constantly flickering. I made sure all the cables were ok and there were no issues connecting directly or using the old KVM. I've also tried multiple power supplies, rearranged ports and cables, bought different adapters, and even bought a portable monitor to test. Probably 2/3 of the time I couldn't show anything at all. Definitely not worth the price.
