I've ordered others that didn't work on a branded 18 volt nailer, even a DeWalt brand. This particular one worked like a charm! And the 5ah, 20v max barrier makes it shoot better than when it's new! And longer working hours. The reason the branded nailer doesn't work is because Brad nailers have low voltage detection. And the brand adapter has a board with low battery detection function to prevent the battery from being completely discharged and failing. Other 18V tools do not have a low battery detection feature. Since it is a lithium cell, it must be in the adapter with all other tools, otherwise there is a risk of discharging the lithium too much and ruining the battery. Therefore, be careful when using a universal adapter for other tools, otherwise the battery may be damaged as the adapter has no built-in protection. It is already installed in 20-volt instruments.
