Worst quality bios I've ever seen on the consumer market

This is by far the worst bios I've seen including the hardware I used in the 90's. I configured this motherboard with a brand new i5-10500, 4 x 8GB Corsair Vengence memory modules (32GB total) and a platinum rated 850W PSU. The BIOS version that came with this motherboard was completely non-functional; The system will not recognize any SATA drive as bootable and the BIOS will be corrupted once the CSM is enabled. Also, the system got stuck in the BIOS settings as soon as a USB storage device was connected. Since the BIOS didn't support onboard Wi-Fi or LAN, USB was the only BIOS update option (and it did NOT work quickly). boot or other settings that would limit the drivers loaded by the BIOS). I was finally able to identify the only USB port on the motherboard that I could plug a USB drive into and had about 50% success with the system still running. Note that this was the USB connector on the board, not one of the connectors on the I/O panel. After updating to BIOS F20a, my SSD drive could finally be recognized as a boot device, but only when csm was enabled and placed in uefi. (no legacy). At this point I discovered that if I use integrated graphics and set the DVMT pre-allocation to 512MB, the motherboard boots correctly once and then corrupts the BIOS on the next reboot, causing the BIOS to reset. I continue to tune the computer and work with advanced bios features, but at this point I'm sure I'll find other features that aren't implemented properly. I would not recommend this or any other Gigabyte product until the company (publicly) identifies the root causes of the sorry state of this BIOS and how the engineers ever signed it off as a production-ready product and the company implements and publicly details corrective actions. be taken to prevent the release of such an inferior product. market entry. Due to the fact that this board as of today (01/17/2021) has had 4 bios updates since 07/03/2020 and the latest bios (F20a) still has broken features, it is clear that Gigabyte and the subwoofers they use for the Developers using bios have not yet taken responsibility for their failures in the review and approval process, and they must make a real effort before anyone can consider them a respectable vendor.
