My 24-year-old son picked this case out as a gift. He was very excited about the waterproof feature as he frequently drops his phone near liquids. He was doing the dishes yesterday and the phone slipped out of his hand and fell into the dishwater. That is the first time he has actually dropped his phone into liquids in a few years. He immediately retrieved the phone out of the water and set it on the counter, thankful that he had a waterproof military grade phone case. When he dried off the phone case and the phone he realized there was water built up inside the case. He panicked. He tried everything he could think of to unscrew the screws that hold the case together. Apparently the only thing you can unscrew the case with is the little tool it came with. By this time my son was frantic as his phone had been submersed in liquids for at least 3 to 5 minutes. He finally just tore the case off the phone. He used a hammer and a screwdriver to open the case and pull the phone out to get it out of the water. The phone turned out to be okay, but the case is entirely smashed. I am asking for a full refund.
