I wore them around the honey while dancing and jumping so it was quite comfortable except for the spot where the light hits the side of my leg. The rubber on the shoes kept the mud out better than the other pair my husband wore. Very light around the foot. I love it. A thicker pad for the LEDs also hope this helps with damage. The LED worked about 3-3.5 hours when fully charged in flash mode.
