Quickly replace old detector
I bought this to replace an old RV detector that was starting to {ahem} "misbehave". I had a simple setup: (1) remove the old device from the wall mount, (2) remove the cable connector caps, (3) attach the new detector, and (4) mount the new device on the old wall mount. NOTE: The wiring on this unit is short contact so you will likely need wire strippers, especially if your RV uses electrical tape instead of wire connector caps.
