Purchased to replace an old (4) 60's vintage ceiling light in a 10 x 10 foot kitchen. The packaging is very good, so the delivery is transferred without problems. The mounting ring attaches to an existing electrical box in minutes. Connecting the two power cords was a bit fiddly. The light comes with a pigtail about 6 inches long, and without a helper to hold the light while wiring it up, you'll have to try and hold the light and plug it in if you have one. I took a small piece of hard wire and made a small hook to hold the flashlight while I connected it. After connection, the lamp is fixed on the mounting ring with a quarter turn. The fixture fits the ceiling and is only 1 inch thick. It's as bright as the (4) 60 watt bulbs I replaced or even brighter and the light fills the room. I am very satisfied with this lamp and would buy it again. This is a quality fixture. Box magazines had a similar device that was almost three times the price and almost twice the thickness. The only improvement I would recommend is adding a quick release connector to the pigtail so you can just plug it in and turn it on when you install it.
