Our 25 year old bath fan sounded like it was about to explode. Replacement units cost over $100, but all it needed was a new fan motor, and that was the answer. Installation took about 20 minutes and was a good amount of time to clean the fan assembly. They're easy to install, but make sure you first disassemble the bathroom fan - with the power off of course - and remove the model number from the motor. Save yourself a lot of doe-re-me!
