I initially bought this set thinking I could use the cable and clips to extend my existing LED lights. Unfortunately, wire is used specifically for solder connections, and connectors are used for solderless connections. I don't know why it's a bundle as the cable and plugs can't be used together. If you want to use plugs, you need a different cable, and if you want to use a cable, you need to use different plugs. I'm trying to solder the wires to the contacts. DO NOT DO THAT! This melts the housing and destroys the connections so that they can no longer be closed. TL; DR - If you are buying this be aware that the connectors will not work with wire.
