First, they work. I bought Southwire Liquidtite flexible pipe and these fittings. The tolerances are very tight. The parts barely slide along the curve, and it's quite difficult to get the red o-ring all the way up. Then, when I tried to tighten the insert nut to compress the o-ring, I couldn't get it all the way in for what I felt was reliable tension. I ended up cutting off the o-ring to allow it to slide all the way through. Not sure how this affects waterproofing, but I was able to fully install the top insert nut so I have a feeling it will stay on the end of the flex. I say it's difficult because I also bought some 90 degree hubbell fittings and there is a big difference between them. They are good but not of high quality. I bought these as a homeowner building a patio but would not recommend them for professional use.
