Review on 🔍 DAP INC Platinum 16OZ Patch Filler - White Paint, 16.0 Fluid Ounces by Andrew Woodruff

I am using this DAP Platinum putty to fill cracks in my eaves siding boards. The fascia boards are Douglas Fir, 35 years old and have small open cracks although still strong. This putty flows very much like a joint sealant. It dries quickly and sands well, but is significantly harder than a joint compound. I was planning on using a bondo which needs to be mixed with a hardener and used quickly before it sets. This DAP filler feels and sands like a cured Bondo with no mess when mixed! It appears to be totally waterproof. I would recommend it for any exterior renovation that is going to be painted.
