This product is advertised as easy to connect to Wi-Fi to report drain pump status. The data to be given confirms the correct selection of the pump. Data includes pump on/off times and predicted volume of water being pumped for each cycle, as well as a "high water level" notification in the sump. This is how it was advertised in the description and in the instructions. REALITY. Installs easily in a pump sump and connects to Wi-Fi via an iPhone app. However, everything went downhill from there. The application was unable to report in/out times to verify current work. Email sent to support. The recommendation was to uninstall/reinstall the app. The problem still existed! Another contact with support indicated that they would replace the device. In anticipation of a new alarm, I received several "false" reports of a "flood" at the quarry. The real problem was that it didn't inform me that the pump could not be connected/worked via the alarm port. I had a "flood" and luckily inspected the hole before it overflowed. Alarm replaced, application uninstalled/reinstalled, new (2nd) alarm connected. We had the same problems! Contacted support via email and after another call they just refunded the cost of the device. Bottom Line: - Easily plugs into an outlet and the wi-fi app does not work properly to report pump operation or to provide a reliable indication of high water level - The device has failed and is interfering with the pump operation. Real high tide and no advance notice! If the support team was quick enough to first replace the alarm and then refund my money, that is a testament to the product's reliability and ability to fix it! Recommendation: DO NOT BUY.
