Review on ๐Ÿšจ Retekess TD107 Motion Sensor Alarm: Wireless Infrared Security System with Adjustable Volume & 9 Chime Tunes for Home, Shop, and Store Protection by John Ghattamaraju

Keeping our cats, HONEST.

The main reason I bought this item was to scare away cats. There were certain spots in my house that some of our cats loved to mark and defecate on. I bought cat sprays, motion sensor sprays, plastic spikes and more. Nothing worked. Until I bought this item. I put it in a restricted area and haven't experienced any crashes in the past week or so. The alarm volume has 4 positions. It's not loud enough to wake up the neighbors. High enough for the cats to get scared and run away. Along with the alarm, eye-like lights will flash and go out as well. The alarm sounds for 30 seconds, then stops and turns on again. That's the best part, especially when she leaves at 3am. With such products you have to switch off manually or fumble for a remote control. After a few mishaps, the cats guess and dodge the sanctuary. You can program your voice or music into the device, but I didn't use those options. The only downside is that the four buttons on the top of the device that control options and power on/off are small and hard to read. The print of the manual is also tiny. Lately I have an unarmed device. The mere presence of the device keeps our cats away. So far, so good .
