I am a very sensitive person and the wax itself did not irritate me. However, after removing each strip, some of the wax stuck to my skin. I used it as intended. I ended up getting annoyed with how many times I had to go over the same spots and also because I was rubbing, scrubbing, digging and scraping off the wax residue. First I tried a dry cloth, then a wet cloth, then a coconut shell brush and oil and it didn't work. It wasn't until I got into the shower and rubbed the spots with wax a few times that everything came off. It didn't damage my skin in any way over time and the wax eventually made it, but after that it took a long time to come off and was very supple even after drying. It was too flexible to be as effective as the harder hard wax. I'm 35 years old, I'm white, I have sensitive, normal to dry skin. I'm not sure how it will affect others, but this one hasn't been good for me.
