Saved me from buying a new Catalytic Converter
While going to replace the rear most oxygen sensor on my old Subaru, When i went to take it out the the rust was more than i expected (around the threads in the sensor) and i ended up actually tearing the old original bung out of the Catalytic Converter.
I bought this bung to replace the old one(which still have the old sensor stuck in it), welded it in and installed my new Oxygen Senor and all is well now.
Pros
- Worked well I just welded it on my exhaust pipe
Cons
- The bungs and plugs may not fit as tightly as desired, potentially causing leaks
