Review on Zoeller M63 Premium Series 5-Year Warranty Mighty-Mate 1/3 HP Submersible Sump Pump by Jamal Yang

Appears to be a quality pump. This is a direct replacement and slightly better than the M53. And it costs extra dollars compared to the M53. You get a better switch, a metal impeller, a lighted plug, and a great price. But DO NOT expect these pumps to last 15-20 years like the old Zoller pumps. I learned that lesson with the M53. First I replaced one of those that lasted 15-20 years. The M53 replacement lasted 7 years, after which it failed. The second replacement M53 purchased in 2015 lasted 3 years and 9 months. I believe they are now designing Zoller pumps past their warranty period. If you get more years, that's a bonus. However, I tried another brand before getting the M63 and had to return two units, so I still think Zoller is better than most other brands - just don't expect them to last much longer than their warranties, which will disappoint be. Unfortunately, like many other things, they aren't what they used to be.
