Review on πŸ”§ Danco (80004) Moen Single Replacement Handle - Metal, 1-Pack by Joshua Overacre

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is what you need to buy to replace that Moen grip that keeps breaking!

After replacing the plastic handle on the Moen lights in my house at least 4 or 5 times I've decided enough is enough! The standard handles are made of plastic, as you no doubt know when you look at this Danco product. And the plastic sleeve of a standard plastic grip is so poorly constructed and of such poor quality that it will snap in no time. Not this Danco product; no plastic; In fact, the blister pack it comes in is plastic, but that's about it. All components are made of metal. The handle fits 2 types of Moen fasteners: those that need to be pulled and twisted and those that twist counter-clockwise. There are 2 adapters and you choose the right one. Directions are simple and clear. One point, however, is that you should put something on the drain before replacing it. That way neither of the two small screws you use will slip down the drain. The whole installation took about 5 minutes and is very easy. Now I won't do that anymore and I hope you don't waste money on Moen's poorly designed plastic products that break every few months. trust me you will be so happy. Look at the photos I posted. They give a good idea of what the product is. JRA
