I love this brand's albums. The front and back are made of hard cardboard that easily withstands wear and tear. I even spilled water on the front of one of mine and it just warped a little. I like to carry my sketchbooks in my purse, so they should be able to withstand a lot. I also like the spiral binding because I can easily slip mechanical pencils and pens into it. It's also the perfect size for me. Big enough to draw on comfortably and not so big that I can't put it in my purse. The paper is quite thick and applies to watercolors and most inks without bleeding.
