Review on 🔧 Bostitch BTFP72327 Ball Drain Valve by Michael Montgomery

Purchased to replace the OEM drain valve on my Campbell Hausfeld HL4315 compressor. The original brass rotary valve was always bulky and while functional, it wasn't easy to use, especially when I stumbled upon it. This Bostitch valve was the perfect fit. Just removed the old valve, wirebrushed the tank threads to make sure they were clean and screwed in the new valve. The whole thing took two minutes (much less time than my initial scolding when I realized the original valve needed to be replaced). An added bonus was that the valve threads were pre-sealed, so no fiddling with teflon tape. As other reviewers point out, it opens easily with just a quarter turn and has a much larger opening (drain hole) than the original, so it's guaranteed. drain better. Easier to use and drains water better - I had to replace the factory valve when I first bought the compressor. If I buy another compressor I will replace the dump valve with this one immediately.
