Arrived quickly and in perfect condition, fits my 98 F150 XLT

Works great and easy to install. Very nice to see my ball hitch reversing to hitch my caravan. I used to have to go out and watch and make adjustments a few times to get the ball under the clutch. Very frustrating! The camera comes with a license plate mount and is ready to use. Remove the top two license plate screws, insert the camera bracket with the camera attached, and reinstall the two license plate screws. The camera power cable came out the back, I routed it through the spare tire release bar along with the grommet and then connected it to the reverse light cable. (Black with pink hot to red from camera and solid black to black from camera hanging in harness with a few others). So this only happens when I make a backup. The display fits in the cab so you can see it from the driver's seat. I installed the monitor on the front panel of the radio instrument panel, which is immediately removed. Carefully remove the 4WD connector and three screws for the airbag switch, if equipped. Be careful and take your time with these two or you'll break the screw fasteners. I drilled three holes for the bracket that comes with the kit. I used external mounting screws and drilled a center hole big enough to put the power cable through. I cut off the power plug from the cigarette lighter and connected the black and red wires to the radio power wires on the back of the radio plug. You may need to bring the $6 radio removal tools to take the radio out. They look like two half loops of heavy gauge wire that go into the front of the radio to release the latches that hold the radio in place. Find green with pink to connect red from display and any solid black to show black for ground. The display is therefore only switched on in operating mode. Does not drain the battery when turned off. I have ordered a second camera (up to four) to be installed in the rear of my caravan and powered by parking/navigation lights.
