The quality of this item for the $19 I paid is really impressive. If it were at a boutique pet store it would cost over $100. Petco has the worst collars for $39. The quality is incredibly heavy, but it's BIG. My pup has a 15" neck so I took the small size 15-21". My whole arm is in the gap (hope it grows into it?) There are a lot of feral dogs in my area and my little girl is very friendly and not aggressive so I got this in the hope it would protect her if she does was attacked. It is very thick and the spines are sharp. I'm sure it will protect your neck. 15 inch neck but company measurements are accurate.
