This is the third time I have had to replace the left fan in my 2011 17" MacBook Pro, the first time for the right fan. These fans are compared to original and very quiet compared to previous spares. As other spares have been the result of squeaky bearings I have high hopes for these Padarsey maglev suspension blocks. But for the price if I get a few years off them it will be a good one given their reasonable cost be an investment. Use both fans if you've opened your case and both are exposed. Full instructions on replacing these fans with new ones are available online. You'll need a few (inexpensive) tools and reasonably good eyesight to perform the replacement. I suggest you have at least one youtube video of the process in front of you <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3- Watch PQAVxSSr4> Get started yourself if you haven't already. It is better not to start the transfer, you will be stopped halfway because you will not see what you should do or you will break something.
