This is the third time I have had to replace the left fan in my 2011 17" MacBook Pro, the first time for the right fan. These fans are compared to original and very quiet compared to previous spares.As other spares have been the result of squeaky bearings I have high hopes for these Padarsey maglev suspension blocks.But for the price if I get a few years off them it will be a good one given their reasonable cost be an investment. EDIT: So, as I said in my previous review, I thought the noise from one of the fans was user error. BUT after using my MacBook, as I usually do a few days after installing a fan, there is a faint but definitely audible rattling noise coming from the new fan.
