Review on Sennheiser MKH416-P48U3: Professional Super-Cardioid Shotgun Tube Condenser Microphone by Jeff Rhodes

There is no need to discuss best in class, superiority, etc. Everything is well described. This microphone can withstand abuse. I've dropped it, moved it constantly, always been beaten up, grabbed and traveled with it and never feared damaging it. Other $1,000 large-diaphragm condenser microphones should be treated like a Fabergé egg. I don't, but others use this mic on the go in humid, wet weather etc. Like it.
