Review on ASUS GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Phoenix Fan Edition Graphics Card (PH-GTX1050TI-4G) with DVI-D, HDMI, and DP 1.4 for Enhanced Gaming Performance by Nathan Akers

Not a bad temporary graphics card for my mid-budget PC build.

I was building a budget PC over the holidays and was able to get this card at a pretty good discount during the Black Friday sales. I knew beforehand that it wasn't the best card, but games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider ran pretty well at 1080p at high speeds, which is all I really wanted. I intend to replace it with a 1070 or 1080 in the near future but for now I'm more than happy with what I paid for. However, the price has gone up since I bought it, so I don't know if I still recommend it. It might be worth switching to 1060 or waiting for prices to fall again. Oh, this graphics card doesn't require a power cable, just plug it into a PCIe port and you're good to go.

Pros
  • cool product
