My master cylinder on my 1998 Ford Taurus LX has seized up so I replaced it with this one and so far it's working fine. My old master cylinder was stuck and was leaking fluid into the booster. So I had to replace the amp on my car. In case you have a car like mine and you are replacing the booster, FYI to remove the old booster you need to remove that and a few other things before that and remove the wiper housing and wiper motor. Then lift the amplifier UP and out. It won't come out if you don't remove the hood, try to pull it towards you. Will not work. Either way, this new master cylinder works well, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't break.
