Received this printer today and am already very satisfied. I've spent many hours comparing Brother and HP printers only to come to the conclusion that the newer models aren't built the way they used to be and now have a chip so you just use their branded cartridges can use. Then I came across this brand and went. based on price and various reviews. There isn't much information out there about this up-and-coming brand, but they are definitely three major contenders. So far I have no regrets. Unpacking and installing was fairly easy. The pictures on the instructions were a bit small and mixed with other languages, but easy enough to understand. The PC setup and Android app were also pretty easy. Simply connect to your PC via the supplied USB port, insert the CD and install with one click. Wi-Fi automatically connects through your computer, so you don't have to fiddle with printer settings. This printer will not work with 5G router connections, so be sure to switch to 2.4G if you encounter any issues. I printed 150 pages at once, everything went smoothly and quickly. Not everyone experiences low toner, although the cartridge that came with it had 3 out of 5 full bars. Maybe they have a high capacity version, ie all 5. The paper tray is a bit odd and always open, but pulls open smoothly. If you rarely use it and want to store it, you need to remove the paper to fold it completely. I haven't used the scan function or anything like that, but for the simple needs of a college printer (PowerPoint printing, classwork, etc.) without the cost and hassle of inkjet, this works great. For a laser printer with Wi-Fi, an auto-feed scanner, and just over $100, you really can't beat this. Plus, refills are about half the price of other brands! I will update if there are any problems in the future.
