Like everything about it, my 07ft 25hp Yamaha 2 Cycle reads perfect. And it has a nice bright green screen when it's on and measuring the rev counter. Top rev and holds the maximum revs that can be reset. Very convenient for checking the screw pitch with different screws. The only downside is that it's actually splashproof, but what else can I expect for $22? I wrapped mine in plastic and taped it to the front lift handle as shown in the photo. This is my second, first on my 4-stroke 9.9 Honda; That works just as well. I don't recommend buying the cheaper black ones at around $12, no backlight and no removable battery...they're pretty flimsy; Your tachometer will not read well with them.
