Review on 🌱 Compostable Trash Bags 8 Gallon - Pack of 50 - Biodegradable Garbage Bags - Medium/Small Kitchen Compost Bags - Eco-Friendly Compost Bin Liner - Bio Compostable Bags by Susan Cox

Good in all respects

Finding biodegradable bags for my small Y size Barabantia bin proved more difficult than expected as it is a European size which is not common in the US. Couldn't find a tie size so ended up going for a slightly larger standard bag. To be honest this product wasn't my first choice as it was a bit wider than ideal but everything else was out of stock so I bought it. They really have exceeded all expectations. Firstly the quality of the bags is excellent, they are strong enough and well perforated so they can be stretched and stretched without tearing (a common problem with compostable bags). Flipping the lid down to slip into my smaller jar was a breeze, and the slightly larger size worked well for collecting debris so I could tie the ends for disposal. The compact recycled cardboard box is well designed and durable. Follow the instructions for setting up the wrapped fodder. You must first remove the reel to start feeding. Only 4 stars for strength as no compostable bag has the strength of plastic bags. So if you've never tried compostable products, be aware that you shouldn't over-stuff them. In my opinion these bags are thick enough for home use and better than some other thinner biodegradable materials.

Pros
  • Compost Bags
Cons
  • Slightly torn
