Review on 🚿 Enhanced Delta Faucet Windemere 14 Series Single-Function Shower Handle Valve Trim Kit in Oil Rubbed Bronze (BT14096-OB, Valve Not Included) by Chris Russell

My old shower handle was a delta but had 2 levers - a large one to turn the water on and a smaller lever to control the temperature. Both became almost impossible for my aging hands. My plumber friend installed this new one (which goes great with all the other bronze Delta fixtures that have been oiled in my tub). As the existing handle was quite old (maybe 15 years old) he had to buy a new valve to make this work. Getting the old valve and seals out was tricky, but it finally caught on. Now I can control on/off and temperature with a simple gesture. It's the little things that make life so much easier. One star deduction because the new valve takes some getting used to. UPDATE: The valve my friend was using turned out to be wrong and stopped working after a few showers. So we called the plumber and they said yes wrong valve close but not all the way. You installed the correct valve and now this grip works like a dream - LOVE it! So if you have an old faucet, you probably need a new valve that is not included.
