Review on Taco 007 F5 7IFC Circulator Integral Check by Orlando Mohr

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just saved over $500 by doing it myself. Even get support from the manufacturer with a free phone call.

The house has 7 zones with a large boiler. It was observed that there was a loud bang in the games room/bar on a cold morning and the radiators were as hot as other parts of the house. Googled it and found that it is most likely a circulating pump. Turn each zone off and then on one at a time to find the right pump and lines. Ordered a Taco 007-F5-71FC which many thought was easy to install. I soon had a winter boiler cleaning and asked for a quote. He said it would cost $500-600 for parts over time. After spending about $100 on nuts, washers, and gaskets, I was ready to install. Overall I spent less than 90 minutes installing the pump. I also ordered extra to have on hand. I used the number on the box to get an answer to a question from Teco and they were very nice, professional and patient!
