My new laptop (Acer Aspire E 15) started up slowly and had a 1TB hard drive. I added this m2 SSD, only 4 tiny screws for physical installation and now my computer starts up in a split second. Reconfiguring the drives to an m2 SSD, a Windows boot drive (C) and switching the drive to "Storage Space" (E) was no problem - and this is my first computer at 41! I basically upgraded to a hybrid for $40 and some time. Love it! Recommend, just make sure your computer has m2 slot and not 2.5" SATA slot. Also, NVMe PDIe m2 and m2 type 2280 are very similar but not compatible with all m2 slots. Therefore, check the specifications of your computer when ordering b4.
