I have tried all types of plastic electric fence insulators of various styles and brands and they have held up far better than any other I have tried. Unlike these insulators, yellow plastic ones break and crack very easily under the hot Florida sun and are a waste of money in my opinion unless you are only using the fence for one season. These insulators can also be used on wooden poles or T-poles and on the latter they just snap securely into place rather than being wrapped in a piece of plastic where others usually break first or where you have to twist them together which is a hassle. and where this guy usually breaks. These insulators also have a removable pin, making it very easy to connect or remove wires. They are a bit more expensive than some of the other insulators but in my opinion they are worth the price and even cost less in the long run because they last longer. Now these are the only insulators I buy and almost every other one I've tried is now thrown in the trash.
