I've always had unique cars with expensive custom wheels because I knew how to drive. Bike stealing was popular in my day; So on the advice of my mechanic friend who suggested "wheel locks" (decades ago) - I've always used them on all my cars. Fast forward to the present; I'm not a 'kid' anymore and have since switched from Porsches and Street Rods to a works sport MCS R53 - and I use these wheel locks. During the previous trip - I woke up from my motel room. in the middle of the night to the shrill sound of a car alarm. I ran out into the parking lot and found a cinder block and some nuts by the front left wheel. Only the lock on the wheel remained.
