Great shoes! Bought as a more stylish and efficient SPD shoe than some of the chunkier ones I've used but just as comfortable, lighter, stiffer and look cooler! At first I was concerned about the classic laces, but after a few rides it doesn't bother me at all, they stay quite tight and the aesthetics are very nice. A bonus is that they click/slip less when walking than most SPD running shoes. . Not entirely silent, there is still the occasional noise on some surfaces but less than any of the 4 other pairs of SPD shoes I've looked at. I didn't like the insoles that came with them, so I replaced them with broken ones. in the insoles of another pair of shoes. The originals can be ok after cracking.
